The Art Of Basketball // URNEWYORK

This is an in-depth and very creative look into really great art by a couple of my good friends, Ski & 2esae, AKA URNEWYORK. Working out of their work studio in Brooklyn, the talented young artists are captured working on their collaboration with the NBA for Art Basel in Miami this coming week. Currently they are on a road trip down interstate 95 to the Sunshine State for the yearly art convention, so expect more behind-the-scences footage from the boys coming very soon. I don't know too much of this group, but I do know they're a pair of brothers from Melbourne, Australia named Cadillac. I like the funky/disco production they deliver on this track. I don't know too much about Sievert, but after listening to his track "Be Pleasant", I feel like we all should! It does get a little repetitive after a while, but the smooth sampling and catchy french disco sound makes this a hot track to throw out for the afterhours crowd. Enjoy!

Norwegian Space-Disco producer Hans-Peter Lindstrøm and vocalist Christabelle teamed up and made a successful year to date with with their latest album, Real Life Is No Cool. Their sound is full of sonic beats, pop-vocals, Quincy Jones style-funk, and lots of groove. The track I share has been around for some time now, with several remixes (the Aeroplane Remix is my favorite) following its success.
