The Works Of Jakob Wagner

Jakob Wagner is a talented photographer from Germany with a great eye. In this set, he has a series of photos in which he captures the simple elements that we take for granted on the New York City streets. Since I'm a city boy myself, this set feels like home to me. I really like the angles and certain places he takes his pictures. More info on the works on Jakob Wagner here.

New Music From Fafa Monteco

Fafa Monteco began to make a name for himself in the 80's when he presented a radio show, mixing Funk, Disco, Hip-Hop and Dance-Music. Now he has a reputation of a "Jack Of All Trades", from DJ'ing around the world, producing, promoting and running his two labels, Hypnotic and Goodtime Records. Being a busy artist, he still has time to bake up those funky tracks that we love. Here's one of them. You can check out more music updates, originals and remixes from Fafa Monteco on Myspace. Enjoy.

Subaru KickBoxer Motorcycle Concept

Twin-intercoolers, underseat turbocharger, and a hub-steering chassis makes the KickBoxer a sportier, and probably better handling street shredder. But at this point, the KickBoxer exists only on paper and computer files. Hopefully Subaru would at least have this machine put into small-scale production.

Hip Hop Fridays

Yup. It's that time of the week again. I decided to give you a classic NYC sound from Brooklyn's own Mos Def. This track is perfect to listen to anywhere on this beautiful Spring day. Enjoy.

Photographed by Paul Empson, pretty girl model Marloes Horst strips down for the #11 issue of Black magazine. With a slight, sexy presence of nudity in the layout, "Noir et Nuit" features designs by Chanel, Christian Dior and Azzedine Alaisa.

Parisian designers Simon Pillard and Philippe Rosetti took a bold approach with their own kitchen by venturing to IKEA for the basic kitchen island and then spending the next week covering it with more than 20,000 pieces by LEGO.

Ripolles-Manrique House

Located in Castellón, Spain, the Ripolles-Manrique House is an isolated estate that began being built in the seventies. What really stands out about its location is the amazing views. The spaces are big and every room in the house gets great natural light exposure. Architecture by Teo Hidalgo Nácher.
