As many lucky teenagers from the late 80's, Laurent started as a bass player in a small High School band influenced by new-wave and pop music acts like Cabaret Voltaire, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and Simple Minds. This is where Laurent discovered the art of sampling thru the first popular 8/16 computers. Today, French artist Lifelike has solidified his spot as one of the premier electronic producers today. Currently he is in a US tour with Alan Braxe, starting with the Pacific Festival @ Hidden Valley, California.
