The exhibition was a great and detailed demonstration of UR NEW YORK's vast range and ability to continuously produce groundbreaking urban inspired art. Artists Michael "2ESAE" Baca and Fernando "Ski" Romero are perfect examples of true urban artists that are committed to breaking and entering into the mainstream; letting their art loose on the world and all the while breaking the status quo on their own terms. A great crowd of celebrities, artists and art aficionados alike came thru and showed mad love to all the unique pieces of UR NEW YORK. I'm truly inspired and proud of the progress and talent these dudes collectively have accomplished throughout the last couple of years. Located in Thorpeness, England, the Dune House was created to portray a "floating house" along the seaside strip of houses on the coast. The living area and the terraces are set into the dunes in order to protect it from the strong winds, and opens equally in all directions to allow for wide views. Bedrooms and guest rooms are on the second floor. The corners on the ground level can be opened by sliding doors; this will emphasize the floating appearance of the top floor. Currently the Dune House is being used as a holiday house for rental. Architecture by JVA Architects.

I'm pretty sure some of you have already seen this crazy and very creative music video from the talented A-Trak & Armand Van Helden aka Duck Sauce. The guys had this to say upon premiering the video on Rolling Stone:

"Big Bad Wolf" is pretty simple, and it can mean anything, really, so we wanted the video to have its own narrative," says A-Trak, one-half of the dance duo Duck Sauce, along with DJ Armand Van Helden. "Remember when dance music videos used to actually be creative? Like when you think back to Aphex Twin, Fatboy Slim and Daft Punk… I don't know why the genre's videos became so generic in recent years. "When Keith [Schoffield] came up with this idea of 'crotchfaces,' we just thought it was hilarious," A-Trak continues. "He started coming up with all these gags and describing the characters living in this sort of parallel world, and we were sold. He wasn't sure if we'd be down to play the leads, but our take on this was, if we're going to do this, we need to go all the way. So we played the dickheads, essentially."

Located in Cadiz, Spain, this house is situated on the edge of the natural park of the Estrecho, on an abrupt hillside. The living room, kitchen and solarium are located on the base platform. At its edge, is the swimming pool, while below, slightly visible, are the 5 bedrooms. The view from inside the house reveals little landscape, offering a direct visual connection with sea, creating a sense of weightlessness in the interior spaces in the house. The two volume CC House is located on the top hill of Playa Misterio, a gated beach community just south of Lima, Peru. One cube built with exposed concrete comes from the earth while the second one is made from glass and appears to be "floating" on the site. Alongside is a great concrete/glass swimming pool. The concrete block houses the social area of the dwelling in its lower levels and the master bedroom at the top. Also the soft look of the glass brings in a light and shadow effects during different hours of the day. Architecture by Longhi Architects.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the original BMW 328 classic of the late 1930's auto brand BMW has unveiled their unique 328 Hommage Concept car. It's based on the Vision Drive Concept shown at Geneva this year. The 328 Hommage will employ a straight six-cyliner powerplant and the familiar kidney-shaped BMW grille stretched upright in dramatic fashion.
